2023-2024 New Year’s Eve Hanfu Culture Festival-Media Sponsor-Atlanta Chinese Life
Today's gratitude goes to our media sponsor: Atlanta Chinese Life.
Their recent promotion efforts have been dedicated and greatly assisted in promoting our Hanfu event.
I'd like to express gratitude to my good friend Yingying. As soon as she saw that our event was themed around Hanfu and Chinese culture, she immediately called me. Her excited voice message truly injected enthusiasm into what I had initially considered a tedious and busy process.
Going back a few years to when I first arrived in Atlanta, the primary Chinese media and self-media platform was Atlanta Chinese Life. It had a website, a WeChat public account, and dedicated customer service. It integrated news, community activities, and various local life information. For those newly arrived in the United States or just settling in Atlanta, this was like a timely rain—just when you were troubled, it felt like a sudden solution.
One of my strongest impressions is of Li Chao, also known as Brother Chao. Before meeting him, I always thought a customer service representative, Xiao Ya, was a cute girl. Yet, during an event at the Atlanta Chinese Life office, where I was performing, I discovered that Xiao Ya was initially supervised directly by Brother Chao.
It instantly shattered my illusion of a fairy-like lady. However, it also introduced me to Brother Chao, Yingying, Yingzi, Taotao, Lao Shen, and many new friends, all possessing significant entrepreneurial thinking. Even though many years have passed, it hasn't hindered the friendships among us.
Atlanta Chinese Life has continuously supported our band and my personal studio. From the time when there was just one studio and a few people starting the band to the gradual progress and development now, it feels like having an old friend on the journey of growth—a constant companion who never leaves. Although they may not frequently pop up on the screen, whenever there's a significant event, they always find a way to support.
Until now, Atlanta Chinese Life remains one of the mainstream media outlets in Atlanta and the surrounding areas. After all, hardly anyone doesn't have Xiao Ya's WeChat. The frequency of daily article updates and the massive user base is quite impressive, to be honest. I have to say, Brother Chao is truly remarkable. Starting from scratch and building it to this scale, he must be an exemplary figure for the younger generation in the business world.
Furthermore, they now offer various services for visa processing, notarization, and passports. They streamline many troublesome procedures. Many formalities are quite tedious... I am one of those 'lazy' people who avoid hassle. Anything that involves running around is a big 'no' for me. This service directly provides convenience to us 'lazy' individuals who don't have time or are clueless about these matters. Once again, I have to admire Brother Chao's mindset and the Atlanta Chinese Life team.
Anyway, Atlanta Chinese Life has become an old friend to everyone.
